22 years old, from New England, currently located in Chicago, Emily Semaya is a passionate creative with a love for the visual and written arts. Semaya was trained in creative writing at the University of Vermont and has taken fine arts classes all her life, but overall describes herself as a “self-taught doodler who got some good canvases.”

Emily is also an professional copy editor, with over three years of publishing experience. She has worked on over a dozen published manuscripts with Van Velzer Press and Pegasus Books and is currently working on a freelance project.
